Here’s some good news to all the aspiring candidates who are willing to attend for MAT exam which will be organized by the All India Management Association (AIMA). AIMA will conduct exam on December 10 and 16. for a paper-based and computer-based test respectively. AIMA will conduct MAT exam twice a year. MAT scores will also be considered for the PGDM courses in various institutes across the country. Interested candidates can apply before December 1, 2017, which is conducted at different centers across 36 cities. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test which is being administered to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to the candidates who are looking for taking admission to MBA and allied programmes. MAT has been approved as a national-level test in 2003 by the government of India, Ministry of HRD. The B-School consider the MAT Score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates across domestic and international schools.

MAT Exam syllabus:

MAT syllabus covers from Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. Indian and Global Environment comprises topics on current events and happenings, banking and business, sports etc.

MAT Exam Sample Papers 2017:

Candidates who are going to appear in the exam are advised to prepare with sample papers which will make easier to qualify in the exam. MAT sample papers help the candidates to improve their accuracy while taking the exam and effective time-management.

MAT Exam Result 2017:

MAT Result will be declared in the last week of the December, Candidates can take the result using roll number, form number and test month. MAT Results can be checked in SMS, Candidates can request for duplicate MAT scorecard within 45 days from the declaration of result.

MAT Exam Cut off 2017:

MAT cutoff is minimum marks required for the candidates qualify for the next round of selection process. MAT Cutoff will be released after declaring the result, MAT 2017 cut off will range from 500 to 700. Cutoff will be calculated based on the composite score.

  • The Paper-Based Test will take place only on one day i.e., 10 December 2017 at one-time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place on 16 December 2017 in different time slots.
  • If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and it can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 16 December 2017 itself.

There are five blocks consisting of four boxes each given in the Form. Fill the codes of those five institutes only where you have applied or are applying for admission. No additional fee is to be paid for filling these 5 choices.Important Notice: Applicants are advised to check the approval/recognition status of various programs directly from the concerned Authorities/ Institutes/ Universities.

AIMA has come across a couple of cases where the aspiring candidates’ mat score is not accepted by some participating institutes/universities for admission to MBA full-time course despite their confirmation to AIMA at the time of participation by incorporating their notifications in mat bulletin. Candidates are advised to recheck with the concerned institutes/universities before applying for MAT.

MAT Registration Form Acknowledgement All Forms received at AIMA are scanned/validated within 5 days and the Form Numbers of such received forms will be available on website link: https://apps.aima.in/mat_reciept.aspx. Further, your form is scrutinized and if found in order; it is provisionally registered.MAT Registration Form received later than the due date is liable to be rejected. Neither any correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor will the fee to be refunded.
Admit Card
  • All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link: https://apps.aima.in/matadmitcard.aspx on or after 02 December 2017 (Saturday).
  • Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. The candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.
