The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test commonly called as TANCET is a state level examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai. The candidate who qualifies this test can get admission in colleges of Tamil Nadu to purse the postgraduate courses like M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan, MBA, and MCA.

Candidates who are interested to pursue the post-graduate courses in colleges of Tamil Nadu can fill the online application for TANCET 2018 through the official website of Anna University i.e. https://www.annauniv.edu/. TANCET 2018 Exam Results:

TANCET 2018 Exam Result will be declared on official website of Anna University i.e. https://www.annauniv.edu/ after few weeks from the exam date. Candidates can download the result from the official website within ten days after the declaration of the TANCET 2018 Result. Candidates can also take the print out of their result for future use. Probably, the results will be declared in the month of April 2018 at www.annauniv.edu.

Steps to be followed for view the results:

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Enter the link in the URL.
  3. Click on the link provided to view the TANCET 2018 Results.
  4. Enter User ID and Password.
  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. You can take the printout of it for future use.

In case if you cannot view the result or it is lost or damaged, duplicate one can be issued with a payment of INR 100 via Demand Draft with a written appeal to the following:

TANCET 2018 Counselling:

Candidates have to undergo a separate application procedure after the declaration of TANCET 2018 Results in order to attend the TANCET 2018 Counselling for getting admission into the colleges. Candidates who are GATE qualified can also participate in TANCET 2018 Counselling.

Candidates should have obtained the minimum eligible marks category-wise to be a part of the TANCET 2018 Counselling procedure:

  • General Category Candidates: Minimum 50% of Marks should be obtained to attend the TANCET 2018 Counselling.
  • BC/BCM/MBC&DNC/SC/SCA/ST candidates of Tamil Nadu: Minimum 40% of Marks should be obtained to attend the TANCET 2018 Counselling.

The Counselling forms are available both in online and offline modes. Forms available in offline should be filled and sent via post to the following address:

Online Forms will be available on Anna University’s website i.e. https://www.annauniv.edu/ and the procedure for filling the Counselling form is same as that of the Application form which was filled during the application process of TANCET 2018 Exam.
