UPSC Timetime table for the year 2018 released. Every year the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION board will issue the UPSC Timetable. UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION:

The UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION of Central board is providing an outstanding opportunity for the Individuals who are willing to settle their career in any of the central services. This year UPSC board is going to conduct various central service exams at various stages. Hence aspirants who are interested in central service posts can Download timetable and start preparing for the particular exam right immediately. After successful completion of timetable, candidates can start their preparation as this exam are the toughest exams in India.

UPSC conducts following examinations:
  • Civil Services Examination (CSE)
  • Engineering Services Examination (ESE)
  • Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE)
  • Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)
  • National Defence Academy Examination (NDA)
  • Naval Academy Examination.
  • Special Class Railway Apprentice.

UPSC Examination process: 

The Commission has the responsibility of direct recruitment at various levels by the method of “selection” to Group “A” Posts and selected Group “B” Posts in the Central Government.

Vacancies are advertised in Employment News and other major newspapers of India. Applicants are then short-listed through computerized ‘Preliminary Scrutiny’ software via rational criteria. Higher qualifications and experience than that is prescribed in the notification may be the criteria. The short-listed candidates are then called for an interview. In case of a large number of candidates apply for a post or if it is not quite possible to short-list candidates on the basis of qualifications and/or experience, a ‘Recruitment Test’ may be conducted to shortlist the candidates.

These candidates are subjected to ‘Interview Boards’ which are presided over by Members of the Commission, assisted by eminent experts drawn from fields for which recruitment is being done.

It must be noted by the candidates that the Timetable released by the UPSC board has no changes. If once the timetable has released there will be no postpone of exams. The board will conduct the exams as per the Timetable.
